Network

All functional modules of the Digital-Control-System DCS have a CAN bus interface through which they are networked with each other.

CAN network

A controller group may include up to 16 users such as sensors, controllers, interfaces and operator panels.

Eight controller groups may be used in a common CAN network up to 160 m long.
